Continuing Development

Twice each year, the Fall and in the Spring, MECA offers weekend seminars for continuing development, in conjunction with the American Montessori Society. The aim of these continuing development seminars is to focus on special topics of interest to Montessori practitioners and other early childhood educators, bringing the best insights and resources currently available. Guest speakers come from within and outside of the Montessori community, each a noted specialist in their topic. Past speakers have included William Crain, Peggy Loeffler, Marlene Barron, David Elkind, Jim Dyck, Alice Honig, Martha Torrence, and many others.
